About Us

1620 Designs was founded in 2017 by two Plymouth locals with a passion for design and craftsmanship. What started with a single laser engraver and a small line of engraved coasters, laser-cut designs, and reclaimed wood signs has grown into a full workshop dedicated to creating premium, stylish signage.

Our journey truly took off when we introduced our line of bathroom signs for businesses. The response was overwhelming — and it revealed a real need for signage that was both functional and thoughtfully designed. From there, we expanded into custom business signage that blends function, style, and brand personality.

Today, we’ve outfitted an incredible range of spaces with our signs, including restaurants, breweries, gyms, churches, med spas, doctors’ offices, cafés, food trucks, and more. Whether it’s a simple wayfinding sign or a custom logo display, each piece is designed and assembled right here in our Plymouth workshop with attention to detail and care.

And while business signage is at the core of what we do, we also carry a growing line of home décor and gift products. Our collection includes laser-engraved coasters, dishwasher magnets and other accessories — all designed with the same craftsmanship and quality as our business signs. These products make great additions to your home bar, kitchen, or living space, and they’re perfect for gifting, housewarmings, and special occasions.

Meet The Team

 

 Natalie

Natalie is the creative heart of 1620 Designs. She guides each custom sign through the process — from the graphic design to the sign assembly — and makes sure every piece looks perfect before it leaves the shop. She’s also the one carefully packing and shipping your order so it arrives safe, sound, and ready to display.

 Mike

Mike is the behind-the-scenes support at 1620 Designs. He lends a hand with the day-to-day tasks, helps keep things organized, and makes sure Natalie has everything she needs to keep the workshop running smoothly. He’s also usually the one answering the phone — so if you call, you’ll probably end up chatting with him.
